For the past few weeks, we have been under one of those gut-wrenching spiritual attacks. I have been able to do nothing but pray and cry out to the Lord.
Truthfully, things are still not restored, but it has occurred to me that it really does not matter. The Lord will bring things to completion in His time and in His way.
I am just struggling with my human emotions and in all honesty, a lack of faith.
Jesus is pure Light.
Satan is the Anti-Christ. He is against God in the purest sense of the Word.
We look around at the works of the flesh in our modern world: adultery, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, quarreling, divisions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and other obvious sinful behaviors. (Galatians 5:19-20)
We might say, "Well, of course, those are sins. We Christians aren't guilty of following such paths." But is that really true? How many of us struggle with those exact issues today?
I read an article the other day that there is an increase in sexual abuse of children in some of the mainstream churches. How in the world is that happening?
Can we not live in the Kingdom of God here on earth? Is that possible? Only you can decide that. But something else is at work here.

Living in faith is real Christianity. It is not about following the rules and orders of the "Christian religion." It isn't about our stumbling around, trying to switch on the light.
Hope occurs when we lay down our weaknesses at the cross of Jesus Christ, even after salvation. It is the work of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus sheds light on the dark so that we confess and lay down our burdens and weaknesses.
Sometimes we are deceived.
Evil people deceive decent people. I think it happens far more than we really believe.
But that is why we need Jesus! When we learn to tune into His voice and His leading, we find ourselves free on the other side of their evil darts.
Trust in His love and His guidance, and you will be free from their evil attacks.
By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. Galatians 5:22-23
